How To Use Reference Numbering
You can configure automatic reference numbers for items within Gold-Vision via Reference Number Settings within the Settings area.
Each item type supports an independent ‘expression’, made up of tags, that defines how the automatic reference is formatted.
Tip
Tip: A list of Tags are available within the Reference Number Settings area.
For example: Adding a reference number to a Quote using {AC:3}-{#QUO} and ticking Add to Summary.

If you have ticked Add to Summary, the reference number will be included when sending an email and can be used with email tracking, see ‘Configure Alerts Introduction’. If you want to keep the Reference Number separate, don’t tick Add To Summary.
