Custom Text Screen Section

You can now add custom blocks of read-only text to screens across Gold-Vision. The Custom Text Block is a helpful way to remind users of specific processes, provide instructions and add reminders.

How do I add a Custom Text box to a screen?

In order to add a Custom Text box to a screen your user level must be set to Configuration Manager or System Administrator, this will give you access rights to the Screen Designer.

Note

If you are currently not a Configuration Manager or a System Administrator please get in touch with your company’s key Gold-Vision Administrator. They will be able to change your user level if needed.

Access the Screen Designer via the settings menu, and select the area of the system you would like to add a Custom Text box to.

Click on the ‘+’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen:

From the list of options, select ‘Add Custom Text Section’:

Now that your block has been added you can change the header text by double clicking here:

To add text to your block, click on the pencil icon in the top right-hand corner, add and format your text and select ‘save’.

Save and close the Screen Designer as normal. Head to the page that includes the Custom Check Box and check the formatting.
