What are Emails?

Emails in Gold-Vision Marketing (GVM) can form part of a campaign, or they can be a standalone single mailshot to a list of recipients. 

From your Gold-Vision Marketing homepage, click the Emails icon in the sidebar. 

In here we can search for an existing email, or create a new one. 

To create a new email, click + New Email

First, select a Brand for the email 

 

Overview

Give the email a Name.

Select a Type

Standard Email

Automated Email – For more information see the Marketing Automation page.

Follow up Email – Follow up and email reacts to data changes needed here.

Select a Campaign

Assign to a Folder –

Assign Tags – 

Contact Preference Type –

Design

Click Design to move on. 

Click Browse designs. 

We can either chose a saved template, base our design on a sent mail, or explore a selection of provided layouts and themes to work with. 

When we have finished our design, we can add recipients.

 

Recipients

Recipients are added via Data Sources in Gold-Vision Marketing.  These data sources are built using the information present in Gold-Vision.

Tip

A Data Source can be Static or Live (they can automatically rebuild when new matching data is detected) 

Automation

Automation allows us to perform task based on the recipient’s interaction with the email. 

Info

When an email is opened, we can add the recipient to another email with a send delayWe could also add the recipient to another data source. 

Email actions such as opens, link clicks or bounces will create an Engagement Score in Gold-Vision.

Send or Schedule

On the send or schedule page, we can either send the email now, or schedule it to be sent later.
